• Visit the most emblematic places of Vendée in a new way with the game "Treasures of Vendée". Team up with Jeanne la pirate, heroine inspired by Jeanne de Belleville, the first woman pirate in history, who takes you on a timeless adventure, in search of the "Secrets of the territory" that mercenaries are trying to steal. Find them before they do to save the Vendée! Museums, castles, parks, leisure sites, stud farms or zoos, the Vendée offers tourists and local adventurers a wide variety of experiences.
• With a view to uniting these treasures of heritage, the “Treasures of Vendée” game brings together the best activities to do as a family. This application is therefore intended to make tourism in the Vendée more fun and to make known the historical and tourist sites of the Vendée.
☠️🖤 A CHARACTER INSPIRED BY JEANNE DE BELLEVILLE
You will not be alone in this quest: Jeanne - pirate woman - and her owl "Bavarde", will accompany you throughout your adventure.
The character of Jeanne the pirate represents the territory of Vendée by the historical personality from which she is inspired: Jeanne de Belleville. Born in the 1300s in Vendée, Jeanne was France's first female pirate.
She acquires this status when she decides to avenge her husband killed by the King of France, Philippe VI. She was nicknamed "Breton Tigress", which testifies to her reputation.
💪⚔️ A 2-PART GAME
The game takes place in two parts: a first "at home", and a second "on site".
• As its name suggests, "from home" does not require traveling to tourist sites. From your home or on public transport, you will have access to games linked to the tourist sites highlighted, just to give a taste of your future visits to the department. Games of reflection, logic and observation, there is everything, the goal being to collect the famous "Secrets of the territory".
• Once "on site", it is possible to access the second part of the game. Your objective will be to fill your "heart purse" by catching hearts in Augmented Reality, Pokemon Go style. tours to earn rewards like free entry to other tourist sites.
"Treasures of Vendée" is therefore a game offered free of charge to families to enhance the tourist offer of paying sites in Vendée: Zoo, museums, castles, leisure parks, etc...
